Mrs Hinch has taken the cleaning world by storm in recent months. The cleaning sensation, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, seems to have become more popular during lockdown as Britons clean their homes more thoroughly. Mrs Hinch, who almost has four million followers on Instagram, has become so popular that fans have created their own social media groups dedicated to cleaning tips.

She replied: No, just had my pot of The Pink Stuff and a bucket of warm water and used a non-scratch scouring sponge.

Gave them a really good clean then rinsed all the frames with hosepipe when Id finished.

Another user, who also recommended the product, said: Pink Stuff by far and it's a fraction of the price compared to the expensive marketed [products] for UPVC.

Pink Stuff paste was brilliant on mine, said one user.

One user recommended using sugar soap, while another recommended using nail polish remover.

Another Facebook user said: Mould and mildew remover spray - I use Kilrock.

My windows and sills have stayed white for a year with only a quick wipe down every couple of months.

While another user commented: Astonish hob & oven cleaner. Recently used it on my daughters new house.
