amaon.net Naturally Clean Skin Products | Homeland Clean Skin Review | Clean Skinning Beaver My name is Jason, I #39;m with Hi-tech Window Cleaning. And in this segment, I #39;m going to explain a few of the things that we use to clean windows on our high rise buildings. The last segment, I explained our rope, two 7/16 rope. They are anchored to two different things on the roof. Each thing on the roof has to hold 10000 pounds. So we tie off to two separate things, in case one rope fails. The first thing we use is a safety. This is called a Jumar. It #39;s actually made for rock climbing. It #39;s really simple. There #39;s a little button on it. You pull, and it will slide up and down the rope. If you let go, it stops you. That #39;s for the safety. That is attached to his full body harness. To go down, we use what #39;s called a Petzl. Really simple. It wraps through a bunch of wheels. It has a handle on it. You push on the handle, you go faster. You pull back, you stop. When we #39;re to where we want to be on the window, we #39;ll actually lock it off so you can #39;t move. The chairs we use is just webbing and a piece of plywood. If for some reason the chair was ever to break for any reason, our safety would be there to catch us. So always make sure you #39;re tied off to two separate objects up there. In case something on the roof fails, you still have a secondary backup. In 20 years, I #39;ve never seen anything fail that wasn #39;t user error. So it #39;s a very safe method of cleaning windows.
