Restrictions on 3 state roads this week for Montco maintenance operations

King of Prussia The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that lane restrictions are planned this week on U.S. Route 1 (City Avenue) in Lower Merion Township, Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) in West Conshohocken Borough and Route 363 (Trooper Road) in East Norriton Township, Montgomery County, for brushing and tree removal operations.

The work schedule is:

Tuesday (Sept. 16) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., there will be a lane restriction on Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) between Spring Garden Street and Wesleys Run in West Conshohocken Borough for brushing;

Tuesday (Sept. 16) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a lane restriction on southbound Route 1 (City Avenue) between 69th Street and 66th Street in Lower Merion Township for tree removal;

Wednesday (Sept. 17) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a lane restriction on northbound Route 1 (City Avenue) between Belmont Avenue and Kings Grant Drive in Lower Merion Township for tree removal; and

Thursday (Sept. 18) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a lane restriction on Route 363 (Trooper Road) between Woodlyn Avenue and Cirak Avenue in East Norriton Township for tree removal.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the areas. The operations are dependent on the weather.
