The city of Athens announced that Lindsay Lane South will be closed for tree removal.

The closure will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday.

City officials said the closure is for the removal of trees required by ATRIP. ATRIP is state funding the city received for road improvement projects.
