Police were seeking witnesses to help them piece together an incident that left a Paradise Township man in the hospital with life-threatening injuries Monday.

According to a brief press release, the 62-year-old man was trying to remove a tree in the200 block of North Lake Road when, just before 7:23 a.m., a large branch that had been cut from the tree fell on him. The man, who was not being identified as of Monday, was flown to the York Hospital, police said.

The man's injuries were considered life-threatening, but an update on his current status was not available asof Monday afternoon.
