150 Year Old Oak Tree Removal
A sad day... Our 150 year old oak has been dying at an accelerated rate, year- by-year for the last 10+ years. It is because of a large diseased cavity at the base of the largest of the three main limbs. This past year, there was no life on the other two large limbs, and very little life on the huge section with the cavity. It #39;s such a tall and heavy tree and the winds have been fierce, so it was "for the best" that we had (most of) her cut down. Still... It #39;s very sad. This was our favorite tree. 🙁 Hats off to Dearborn Tree Service -- this was a huge project, in between three houses, two garages, a power-line, a hand-built picket fence, and numerous other trees that we wanted to preserve. Their crew expertly thwarted Murphy #39;s Law, and completely avoided even the slightest mishap. Not one thing went wrong and they did a perfect job cleaning up the debris!
