"The trouble with replacing tile shingles on a roof is hard work because the tiles overlap one another," said an inventor from Aliso Viejo, Calif. "In order to replace a single tile or a group of tiles in a section, you have to pry them up or hit them with a hammer without breaking or damaging the tile. This is difficult and tedious, which is why I came up with a better pry bar that gets the job done easier."

He developed the TILE WEDGE REPAIR TOOL to offer a better way to pry up roofing tile shingles. The unit prevents tiles from being damaged while performing repairs. The design ends the need to use a hammer directly on the tiles. The tool saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations. In addition, the tool is designed for ease of use.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
