COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced a lawsuit against a Westerville home improvement contractor accused of failing to deliver on services promised to consumers.

The lawsuit charges Michael Evilsizer, of Westerville, and his business, Buckeye Exteriors.

The two men allegedly violated Ohios consumer laws, according to DeWine.

Consumers gave these contractors thousands of dollars for work that was not performed as promised, said DeWine. We try to resolve the issues out of court, but when months go by with no resolution for consumers, we must move forward.

Buckeye Exteriors specializes in home window replacement, vinyl siding, and roofing. DeWines office is currently aware of six unresolved complaints from consumers against the business. Consumers stated paying between $950 and $10,000 for construction work that was not delivered as promised.

The lawsuit has been filed in the Franklin County Common Pleas Court, charging the business and Evilsizer with failure to deliver, performing shoddy work, and violating the repairs and services rule.
