Each year thousands of individuals volunteer their time to support Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanitys efforts to build decent, affordable housing for needy families. These volunteers are the lifeline of Habitats program. To support Habitats mission, on Friday, November 14, Peapack-Gladstone Bank employees participated in a new build project in Lambertville, New Jersey. Here Bank volunteers rolled up their sleeves to assist a deserving family in becoming one step closer to home ownership. As a volunteer on Habitats build site, Bank employees were provided training and the opportunity to work in a variety of phases of construction, including the installation of interior insulation and vinyl siding to the exterior of the structure.

Working right alongside the prospective new homeowner, the enthusiasm and readiness of Bank volunteers to lend a helping hand brought a specially-selected family one step closer to completion and occupancy of their new home. For many hard-working families, affordable shelter is an unattainable goal. However, with the efforts of Habitat for Humanity, its mission and its volunteers, for many local families, the dream of home ownership has become a reality.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity. Peapack-Gladstone Bank is proud to be a part of their effort to provide decent, safe and affordable housing to those most in need.
