Community members attending the grand opening celebration at the Otsego County Library Sunday shared their thoughts about the new layout created through the expansion project:

The library really is an inclusive space for bringing the community together. There is something for everyone books still live!

My favorite thing about the library is the new kids room and the Christmas books and the tunnel (portal leading into the childrens area). I checked out 10 books a new record!

Its wonderful they were not just climbing into the next 10 years with the building, but looking into the future. Its just a beautiful, beautiful job. Im so happy with it. There are so many good things about it.

Its really beautiful. Im impressed by the space and the places where people can sit leisurely and read a book. It makes it comfortable for people to sit down and browse through books and do a little reading.

I like all the books they have in here and the place is bigger and all the spaces where you can read.
