RSG was a portfolio company of The Sterling Group (Sterling). Harris Williams & Co. acted as the exclusive advisor to RSG. The transaction closed on May 31, 2012 and was led by Mike Hogan from the firms Building Products & Materials Group along with Hiter Harris, Ryan Nelson, Brent Spiller and Brad Morrison from the firms Richmond office.
