Antis Receives Community Service Award

On Saturday, December 20, West Coast property management firm Action Property Management announced that Antis Roofing and Waterproofing is the recipient of their 2014 Community Service Award. The award, according to Action president and CEO Marianne Simek, is given each year to a vendor who represents Actions mission of improving the quality of peoples lives. This vendor goes beyond the profit motive to make the best use of time, money and resources to better the world in which we live. Antis received this award because of its work with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. Since 2009, Antis has provided the roofing installations on all of the organizations new home builds.

Its great to be recognized for our community service, said Antis president and Habitat for Humanity of Orange County board member Charles Antis. And not just because it feels good. Awards like this bring attention to the people in our community who are struggling and need help, and this attention is what brings resources to the organizations that meet that need.

Habitat for Humanity of Orange Countys most recent construction projects include a number of recently completed townhomes in Cypress. This December, five families achieved their dream of affordable homeownership, while 10 more homes are currently under construction with plans for completion in 2015.

According to its website, Action Property Management, which provides HOA and high rise management, among other services, participates in extensive philanthropic outreach through its Action Cares program. Organizations that benefit from Action Cares include Kids Alive International and Habitat for Humanitys Greater San Francisco chapter.

We thank Action Property Management for this award and for their continual efforts to bring attention to these important causes, said Antis. And we hope that this story will encourage other businesses and individuals to reach out and help others when they can.
