National Public Lands Day Trail Project: Desolation-Thaynes Link
A Brief video of volunteers completing trail work during National Public Lands Day on the Desolation-Thayne #39;s Link Trail in Millcreek Canyon. The purpose of this project was to re-route the existing trail to provide for better grade and drainage, which will contribute to the prevention of erosion and sedimentation into Mill Creek. During this project the volunteers were split into four groups. One group worked on rehabbing the trail, while another installed two new signs. The third group created new trail tread, and the final group was tasked with restoring a retaining wall. This was a Wasatch water legacy partnership watershed restoration project. From:Marry StewartViews:0 0ratingsTime:01:02More inNonprofits Activism
