LA MESA, Calif., Aug. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Remodeling companyLars Remodeling & Designhas announced that it is partnering with California Coast Credit Union to present a free workshop for homeowners. The Smart Remodeling seminar will discuss the different steps to take before beginning a home addition, kitchen remodel or other projects.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at the California Coast Credit Union. Participants can choose either an afternoon session from noon to 1 p.m. or an evening session from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The workshops will take place on the third floor of the Administration Building, located at 9201 Spectrum Center Boulevard in San Diego. Light refreshments will be served.

"Oftentimes, homeowners don't know where to begin or exactly what a home remodeling project entails," said Jason Larson, president of Lars Remodeling & Design, which is based in nearby La Mesa.
