Plumber nabbed for illegal gun possession

A PLUMBER was arrested in an operation by personnel of Bacolod Police Station 2 for alleged possession of illegal drugs at Purok Magsanaya, Barangay 6 in Bacolod City on Friday morning.

Police identified the suspect as James Molabola, 31, Purok Masipag, Barangay Pta. Taytay.

Senior Insp. Jose Mulleta, chief of Police Station 2, said they were conducting a checkpoint at Purok Magsanaya when the suspect, who was on board a motorcycle, immediately ran leaving his motorcycle in the area.

He said policemen chased him and when he was frisked, two plastic sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from his possession.

Police also recovered from Molabolas possession a pouch containing several empty transparent plastic sachets.

Molabola admitted to the police that he was a drug user but not a pusher.

The suspect is detained at the station. (MAP)
