A 59-year-old plumber and a 40-year-old jobless man were killed in Quezon City Sunday, police said yesterday. Reports reaching the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit identified the victims as Felomino Sayod of Visayas Ave., Barangay Sta. Lucia, Quezon City, and Francisco Yepez of Sta. Veronica, Dulo, Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Chief Insp. Rodel Marcelo, QCPD-CIDU chief, said that Sayod was allegedly stabbed by Salvador Alaurin, 32, also a plumber, of Diego Silang Interior, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Quezon City, in an altercation at 4 p.m. inside the victims house on Visayas Ave. Yepez was shot dead at about 7:10 p.m. on Sta. Veronica, Dulo. A relative of the victim told police that she was inside her house when she heard two successive gunshots outside. She went out to check and saw the body of the victim on the ground. (Francis T.
