Thirteen people were arrested in a drug operation that Bradford County sheriff's deputies believe provided several people with prescription medication in the county's south end.

The arrests were the result of Operation Pill Push, which was carried out by the Bradford County Sheriff's Office after the agency received information that a group of local businessmen were peddling prescription medication. One of the suspects, Robert Bobbie Odom sold drugs from his work van between service calls as a local plumber, according to a news release provided by the sheriff's office.

The operation also led Bradford detectives to David Silcox, who authorities say supplied several people with illegally obtained prescription drugs.

The round of arrests spanned Feb. 23 to last week, and everyone was booked into the Bradford County jail on various charges connected to the case, according to Capt. Brad Smith, a BCSO spokesman.

Smith also said the investigation involved sales of painkillers such as Oxycontin and Lortab.

Bradford deputies arrested the following people during the operation:

Robert Bobbie Odom, 53

Two counts of synthetic narcotic distribution

Two counts of cocaine possession
