Black had originally been a pest control technician and learned the trade from his father, who used to work for Orkin. He decided to move to Atlanta, though, and become a fitness trainer. He then moved back to Anderson and founded W.E. Black Pest Control with help from his father.

W.E. Blacks technicians and specialists will treat a home with a combination of odorless liquid, dust and granular and gel repellents. Gel baits are applied in kitchen and bathroom cabinets, while granule bait is used under kitchen appliances. Liquid repellants are applied to plumbing.

Though W.E. Black doesnt make their customers sign contracts, some of them have been clients for more than 16 years. They are one of the few companies that have a 100 percent rating from the Better Business Bureau.
