*Reveal Your Top 3 Most Feared Pests survey, Rentokil, June, 2014 (1,435 votes).

The survey was conducted alongside Rentokils Global Pestaurant Day celebrations that took place around the world on 4 June 2014, while South Africas Pestaurant event took place on the 31st May at the Good Food and Wine Show. Whilst Rentokil experts are used to helping customers gain control of their pest problems, these events gave attendees the opportunity to quite literally eat their fears by sampling edible bug delicacies, such as chocolate covered ants.

Nathalie Leblond, Marketing Communications Manager, comments: When pests invade your home or business, you need a fast, reliable service to eliminate risk of damage to your property and the health of those within it. Finding cockroaches in your home or business can be very distressing. As known carriers of diseases such as Salmonella, Dysentery & Gastro-enteritis, exposure to this pest also poses significant health risks. If you have noticed an unpleasant, lingering odour under sinks, behind appliances or in store cupboards, its time to check for signs of cockroaches.

Rentokils technicians have the tools to control pests around the world, so whilst cockroaches may be the Worlds most feared pest, you can leave it to the experts to implement professional and effective cockroach control treatments.

Practical advice on identifying and getting rid of the pests in the most feared list can be found at http://www.rentokil.co.za and tips on getting rid of cockroaches can be found on Rentokil's blog.
