But this year, when T&J Pest Control is celebrating its 15th anniversary, there's one pest in particular that's more widespread in the area than anything else, mice included.

It's the ants.

"When it rains, they pop up. We've had a lot of the sugar ants getting into the homes," Toni Sanders said, who owns the business with her husband, John Evans. "This is the biggest ant problem I've seen in awhile."

Before she was getting rid of bugs and rodents, Sanders was folding clothes.
