Alterra Pest Control blasts by National Record with 53,000 new accounts in a single summera feat rarely seen before in the pest control industry.

At the beginning of the year, Alterra Pest Control set the specific goal of attracting 50,000 new customers in 2012. They opened 13 new locations nationwide and in May alone they added a combined total of over 10,000 new customersthey seemed well on their way to achieving their goal. As the summer progressed, it was clear that Alterra would far exceed their growth-goal. The recently opened location in the Salt Lake City area contributed approximately 4,700 new customer accounts to the staggering overall 53,000 new customers in a single season.

Alterra knew that the potential for growth in 2012 was large, and they approached this opportunity with careful planning. They wanted to be able to support their new customer base with progressive, environmentally responsible pest control as well as to increase the quality of their customers lives with every Alterra interaction.

This year we significantly fine-tuned our training programs for both the sales and operations teams. We have completely revamped our process manuals, training videos, and weekly technical trainings.
