Here are a few ideas to get you started. Worried what your boss will think? Invite him or her along! At these prices, you can afford to buy an extra drink or two.

PSYCHO SUZI'S

It's nearly impossible to get a seat here on a beautiful evening during peak dinner hours, despite an expansion that means there are now 380 seats.

Specials are limited -- $3 well drinks, $3 domestic taps, $4 premium local taps -- but the basic bar food is reasonably priced. And it's worth playing hooky to sit along the river under a thatched umbrella and sip a drink in the cool breeze.

If you're a workaholic who can't quit early enough for happy hour, Psycho Suzi's offers late-night deals that start at 10 p.m.

A chewy-crust, cheesy, one-topping pizza is $5, and there are drink specials that vary day to day.
