Texas barbecue and Vietnamese fusion restaurant Smokin Beauty opened Aug. 28 at 11806 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin. The eatery offers a unique menu with items such as brisket and pork belly banh mi. North Austin staple Ross Old Austin Cafe officially reopened in mid-August as Luisas Patio, located at 11800 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin. Luisas Patio sells traditional Mexican dishes, such as street tacos, sopes and enchiladas, and serves Latin American-inspired alcoholic drinks.
