7 great bar, restaurant patios in the Dayton area

There are few things better on a warm day than a cold beverage on a cool patio.

Lilys Bistro Manager Todd White said a great patio allows diners to experience a restaurants atmosphere outside.

The American fare eatery at 329 E. Fifth St. in Daytons Oregon District has three patios.

The two patios that face Fifth Street are open.

White said the Mendenhall family owned restaurant is making minor seating and lighting improvements to the main back patio.

We just wanted it a little brighter, White said.

A door is being added to make it easier for servers to get from the kitchen to the patio.

The patio with a secret oasis feel can accommodate up to 500 people and will soon reopen, White said.
