A teacher of Eucon International School fell victim to burglars Monday last week.

Darlene Ridenour arrived home on March 10, 2014, at the Eucon Hotel in Papago across the old Botanical Gardens to find that her house had been ransacked.

She said the burglars went through the back door and took almost everything in her apartment and then later went inside another tenants room and took shoes.

Ridenour described the back doors as patio doors that could be popped up.

Among the items that were stolen were her TV set, DVD, camera, laptop, cell phone, a hard drive system and all her jewelry, several pieces of which were worth some money.

Ridenour said that among the irreplaceable items that were stolen was her daughters class ring and pictures. According to the victim, the class ring belonged to her deceased daughter who passed away in a car accident several years ago.

I cannot replace her things, she said. Its very heartbreaking, I feel very violatedstealing pictures that can never be replaced, she said.

She said that police have been notified and have investigated both her room and the other room that was also burglarized. That room is occupied by a student of Eucon International School.

About two Eucon teachers and one student along with other residents stay in the hotel.
