Interstate 79 lane closures continue through the week in Marshall and Cranberry

Lane closures on Interstate 79 will continue daily this week in Marshall and Cranberry, PennDOT officials said.

Weather permitting, the single-lane closures will occur Monday through Friday in the area between the Route 910 and Route 228 interchanges. Contractors will restrict northbound lanes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and southbound lanes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews will be doing line painting, guide rail replacements and other work. Drivers are urged to use caution in construction areas.
