Marquart earns achievement award

Steve Marquart, an agent for Farmers Insurance Group, Fargo, has achieved the Farmers Topper Club award.

He earned the recognition for his sales performance in personal lines new business in 2013.

HBA elects 2014 board of directors, officers

The Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead has elected officers to its 2014 board of directors. Those elected include:

Carlita Dietz, Jay Dietz Construction, president; Clay Dietrich, Dietrich Homes, president-elect; Tom Spaeth, Accent Contracting, treasurer; Terry Lipp, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Showroom, associate vice president; John Koerselman, Red River Drywall & Painting Services, secretary; and Darrick Guthmiller, Kochmann Brothers Homes, past president.

Lipp was elected to serve a second three-year term. Spaeth and Todd Rasmussen, Valley Lights, previously completed partial terms for open board positions and were elected to their own first term for 2014.

Members Dawn Cruff, RHR Construction, and Dustin Murray, Dustin Murray Construction, were elected to the board for a first term.
