Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) February 05, 2014

Bonaire was one of those areas hit by the flooding in Delray Beach in early January. And according to a report from wptv.com, the residents feared that the rise of water might have caused mold growth in their houses. In response to it, AGC Environmental advised everyone to have a Florida air quality testing done.

In the report, which was posted on January 31, 2014, Gloria Ahlman and Sharon Holland were identified as two of those residents who were greatly concerned of the possible mold presence. But while the suspicion prompted Holland to move out of her house, it shared that Ahlman was compelled to just endure it due to a financial difficulty.

Based on the report, the health effects of mold were the main sources of the people's concern over its possible presence. In the case of Ahlman and Holland, it relayed that it was particularly its impact on their lung problem and asthma respectively that they are worried about the spores' probable growth.

Below is an excerpt from the said report.

Signs of the water than swamped Gloria Ahlman's apartment are everywhere. A foot-high water line greets you at the front door.

"I would leave sooner, but I can't afford to do it," said Ahlman. "I don't know if there's mold. I have no idea what I'm living in. It's been a disaster trying to get things back to normal.

AGC Environmental said that mold infestation has many negative effects on health. Because of that, it said that its possible growth is indeed something to worry about.

However, it stated that there is a way to prevent those effects or at least keep them at a minimum. That way, it cited, is confirming the presence of the fungus early on via a mold inspection and air testing. With those methods, worrying unnecessarily is prevented if no mold is present and prompt remediation could be implemented if it is confirmed, it said.

Nonetheless, for a Florida air quality testing, AGC Environmental believed that it is the one that could provide the best service. And as it pointed out, it is for the reasons that its mold exterminators and consultants are certified experts and its processes follow the state's guidelines.
