KOTA KINABALU: The T1@Bundusan commercial hub is set to redefine the landscape of the city here once completed in 2017.

The project sited on 1.94 acres of land will be developed by Tan Brothers Machinery Company (TBMC) and this will be their first venture in property development projects in Sabah.

The project comprises 12 4-storey blocks of commercial shop offices and 12 units of dual-volume sky F&B outlets on level 5, a 6-storey boutique hotel and a single-storey basement car park at the 1.94 acres of land, said TBMC director Anthony Tan at the launching of the ceremony of the project on Friday.

T1@Bundusan is an iconic building, moving away from the norm of the design of commercial property.

It is a remarkable piece of art, which will transform Sabahs typology. T1@Bundusan is derived from the letter T which reflects transformation of concept for this flagship development, said Anthony.

The conceptual architecture of T1 was conceived by Mak Thur Pei of Mak Arkitek Konsult, the young architect who has won the inaugural Tan Sri Chan Sau Lai Architecture Award by the Malaysian Institute of Architect for fresh and innovative design, he said.

The building has been designed with quality in mind and meticulously crafted for those who appreciate the finer things in life, he added.

Upon its completion in 2017, it will redefine the business landscape as it will be built with up to date infrastructure and IT facilities.
