Justin Jeffers is a Landscape Architect, born and raised in Barbados. He graduated with honours from Morgan State University in 2010, and returned shortly thereafter to work in the Caribbean. The focus of his study and his work is sustainable design and lifestyle, stemming from his belief that we are not in nature, but of nature, and must work and live in harmony with it in order to truly prosper. In thespirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
