Originally the landscape architect specified aluminum edging to line the logo, but the logo has lots of curves so we knew that aluminum would be hard to work with, explains Patrick Wheatley, Landscape Designer with Hyde Park Landscape & Tree. We went back to the architect and explained that since the angles had to be welded, which posed a safety concern for us, and the edging had to be cut with a quick saw, we didnt feel that aluminum was the best product we could use. The architect then specified Oly-Olas Super-Edg, a low profile landscape edging made of 100% recycled PVC and what a difference. Super-Edg was easy to cut, form, bend, connect, modify and transport.
