National Spelling Bee (8 p.m., ESPN) The championship rounds of the 86th annual event outside of Washington, D.C. The competition began with 281 spellers aged 8 to 14. Snigdha Nandipati of California won in 2012 on the word guetapens.

Save Me (8 p.m., Chs. 7, 10 and 22) Beth is determined to be a Good Samaritan to an elderly neighbor who is a bit of a curmudgeon, which is why Beths family and friends are against helping the woman out.

Chopped (9 p.m. and midnight, FOOD) Chefs whove had weight-loss success share their stories as they try to prepare healthy dishes for the judges, which proves challenging in the appetizer round when they are faced with a fatty protein. Also: They must break down a fish; transform a snack food; and wow with angel-food cake.

Motive (9 p.m., Ch. 5) An investigation into the death of a limo driver leads the detectives to a femme fatale who murders her lovers.

Pawn Stars (9 p.m. and 1 a.m., HIST) A collection of tin toys from the early 1900s; a tonsillotome. Also: Rick performs with Roger Daltrey.

Renovation Raiders (9 p.m. and midnight, HGTV) Licensed contractor Amy Matthews pulls off major remodels while homeowners are out to dinner in this series, which opens with the complete transformation of a kitchen and family room in six hours.

Anger Management (9:30 p.m., FX) Charlie deals with Jens ex-boyfriend (Brian Austin Green).
