The buzz: PB designers HIVE celebrates milestone

Palm Beach interior designer Sara McCann hosted a party to mark the first anniversary of the opening of her store, HIVE Gift and Garden Shop at 424 Palm St., West Palm Beach.

Beth Rudin Dewoody, Lisa Perry and Burt Minkoff were among the 400 guests who attended the November cocktail celebration.

HIVE offers furniture and home accessories, plus an interior design service through the McCann Design Group.

CCE taps executive Cecilia St. Hilaire joins the Center for Creative Education as director of development. She will be responsible for all aspects of donor and fundraising management, according to Robert Hamon, CEO.

A native of the Caribbean island of Dominica, St. Hilaire is the former director of development, operations and finance for Opportunity Inc., where she served for nine years.

Foundation donation At a party at Lourdes-Noreen McKeen assisted living residence in West Palm Beach, Charles Hanna, client advisor at SunTrust Private Wealth Management, presented a check for $5,000 from the SunTrust Foundation to Terry Lee Kaly of the Lourdes Foundation.

Our Palm Beach wealth management team is excited to be working with the Lourdes Foundation to sponsor the holiday party and spread cheer to seniors, Hanna said.
