Inspired by mid-century American interior decorator Dorothy Draper known for her love of color and competing patterns, and who, in addition to redesigning the Greenbrier after World War II, is also responsible for decorating the lobby of the Carlyle Galdo and Cloud loaded pre-fall designs on a bellhop cart and let their instincts run wild in the 700-room hotel. Dorothys motto was If it looks right, it is right, which is something we were practicing while shooting, explains Galdo. We would arrive at a spot, I would dress our model, Cody would set up the lights, and we would start shooting. After about 30 minutes or so, we would break it all down, put it back on the cart, and it wheel away all very run-and-gun.
