The Danish government published new positive lists for highly educated and skilled workers from other countries earlier in July in order to meet the labour shortages that Denmark has been dealing with.

The Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) explains that the Positive List for people with a Higher Education includes a total of 45 job titles, whereas the Positive List for Skilled Workers includes 46 titles.

This means that 91 nationals of other countries can apply for one of these jobs in Denmark provided that they are eligible, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

SIRI has already published an overview of the job titles on the positive lists for highly educated and skilled workers.

According to SIRI, Denmark is currently looking for skilled workers in different professional fields. The job titles for skilled workers required in Denmark based on the professional field are as follows:

The new Positive Lists entered into force on July 1, and they will remain effective until December 31. These lists have been developed by SIRI based on the Labour Market Balance from the Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment, and they aim to help Denmark combat the shortage of qualified professionals.
