SAPULPA, Okla. - Ashley and Joshua know it was a hotter than normal summer for a lot of folks this year.

Still, they say it was even hotter for them, especially under the collar, since their air conditioner didn't work properly for weeks.

It meant their one and a half year old son, spent a lot of time at daycare and his grandpa and grandmas.

"Oh, it was so frustrating, I was so irritated, this has been so, being a first time home buyer, it was hard."

When they bought their house, Ashley says it came with a home warranty from First American.

And for several weeks, Ashley says they tried to get the ac repaired properly, going through several contractors sent by First American.

"I'm so tired of calling them, sitting on hold for 20 and 30 minutes at a time."

Eventually, Ashley says she was told their ac's problem was pre-existing, and not covered under the warranty.

But Ashley says she sent them their inspection paperwork, that shows it was not pre-existing.

Still, Ashely says they had an ac that wasn't working correctly.
