Retired Marine Staff Sergeant Mark Hupp was the 4th disabled veteran to receive a home restoration through Embrace #39;s Healing Our Heroes #39; Homes program (www.Embrace1.org). Thanks to sponsorships from McCarthy Building, The Home Depot Foundation, the Weingart Foundation and the Galinson Family Fund, volunteer contractor and volunteer college students put over $60000 worth of labor and materials into Hupp #39;s Lemon Grove, CA home over a 4 Day period (additional minor work was done several weeks later). The restoration included: Installation of central air, rewiring of the entire home, concrete pavers, front and back driveways, major landscaping and tree removal, retainer wall, widening of doorways for wheelchair access, ADA compliant indoor and outdoor railings, complete kitchen and bathroom remodel.From:Embrace San DiegoViews:4 0ratingsTime:04:43More inNonprofits Activism
