"I'd urge you to flip your AC on if you haven't already - make sure it's working correctly and if not, get that taken care of before the next hot spell occurs," says Justin Layfield, with Grogg's Heating and Air Conditioning.

The pros at Grogg's say any air circulation is better than nothing.

Even a fan can reduce the risk of any heat-related health problems.
