Despite the economic downturn that many major metropolitans are continuing to face around the nation, Charleston is making substantial strides in its economic recovery efforts. In 2013, Charleston showed a considerable increase in new home construction, which has since spilled over into 2014, and industrial construction has been on a steady rise in the Palmetto Commerce Park area, as well as other major industrial areas, in the Charleston and North Charleston regions. There is also a projected increase of about 8% in apartment building construction in 2014the largest such growth projected in the nation.

Theres no denying that Charlestons economic growth has been a motivating factor in our relocation, added Mr. Johnson.
