Sex tip of the day: Feng Shui your boudoir for more passion

Who doesn't want to increase their positive energy in the bedroom? Here are a few tips to help you have better sex...Feng Shui style.

1. Cosy in the corners

Feng Shui experts believe that every bedroom should have a 'kissing sector' or 'communication corner' that allows you to become more sensual with your partner without getting straight to the between-the-sheets action.

You don't need a massive room to make this work; simply investing in a corner sofa or an arm chair will give you somewhere to sit and talk (but make sure it doesn't become a dumping ground for half clean clothes).

Don't forget, novelty is great for inspiring passion in the bedroom. A quick change of bedding or new lights and paintings will help to make things feel fresh.

2. Change your colour scheme

In Feng Shui the colour red is associated with fire, passion and sexual energy. Hanging red curtains or investing in a red bedspread is a quick and easy way to spice things up.

3. Move your furniture and electrical equipment

Placing your bed directly under a window or crowding it in a corner is considered bad Feng Shui, so try and arrange your bed in the middle of the room. Ideally you should be able to walk around three sides of the bed, so it's the focal point of the room and the first thing you see.

Experts also blame electronics for radiating negative chi, called sha, so keep digital clocks, televisions and computer games consoles at least a couple of feet from the bed, and, if possible, keep them completely hidden. The same goes for taking a laptop to bed too!
