Kris Aquino and Vice Ganda are competing yet again at the Metro Manila Film Festival but as always, their bond is strong.

He was there at my lowest, Kris said of the comedian at the press conference of her movie Feng Shui 2.

The actress is not out to compete with Vice for the number 1 spot in the festival. Her only aim is to recoup the hard-earned money she, co-star Coco Martin and director Chito Roo invested in their movie.

Thanks, Coco

Kris revealed the idea to make a follow-up to her starrer with predecessor in theatres 10 years ago, came about partly because of Coco.

During his press con for (soap) Juan Dela Cruz, sinabi ni Coco na kung meron man daw siyang gustong gawing movie in the future, it would be a horror movie. (Then) sinabi niya doon na ang all-time favorite horror movie niya was Feng Shui.

As soon as she heard about it, Kris called up Cocos manager, Biboy Arboleda, to confirm if Coco was serious about it.

Kung di binanggit (ni Coco) na paborito niya ang Feng Shui at (kung) hindi ko natawagan si Direk Chito (about it), this (movie) would not have happened, she said.

Kris is all praises for her co-star.
