SAN ANTONIO -- There's more trouble along Roadrunner Way on the northwest side, where drivers keep crashing into backyard fences in the Maverick Creek subdivision. One resident told KENS 5 his fence has been crashed into roughly 15 times over the past six years, and it just happened again. Click here to see photos. The driver took off and Prater said it'll cost about $1,000 to repair the fence, again.

Residents believe the speed limit is too high and the curve is too dangerous to maneuver. Roadrunner Way is located of UTSA Boulevard, near Babcock Road. Back in November 2013, when KENS 5 first reported the story, the city of San Antonio said it was conducting a traffic study in the area.

The city of San Antonio told KENS 5 via email that it has installed curve-warning signs throughout the roadway. The city also said it has installed more speed-limit signs and chevrons through all curves.

Finally, the city is working with the SAPD to increase patrols in that immediate area.

"We are continuing to look for additional mechanisms that can be utilized to assist with this concern," the email read.
