Although I've pointed this out previously, the reason we're SO critical of brands like Chevrolet, Lincoln and Honda is because it's coming from a place of LOVE.

And, finally, it seems that Honda has turned the corner and is starting to swing for the fences. The first production variant that expressed this is the all-new HR-V and now we're seeing one seriously ambitious Civic Concept at the 2015 New York Auto Show (NYIAS).

Painted the most vibrant green you've ever seen, the Civic Concept is supposed to represent the 2016 model, which will be the 10th generation Civic to be produced. According to Honda, the "reimagined" Civic will debut this fall.

Not only will there be the typical sedan and coupe body styles, we're also going to receive a hatchback in the States this go around. And, something I think total Hondaphiles have been waiting for: the Civic Type-R.

While Honda usually plays it safe in the States, it's nice to see the company getting antsy and taking risks.

All that said, take a look at the model Honda brought to the show and displayed. Since a lot of its design themes have appeared in other products most notably, the front clip we're thinking a lot of what you see is here to stay. The Murcielago-inspired exhaust, probably not.
