Mouse Morris is targeting Punchestown compensation for Baily Green after he fell in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Last year's Arkle runner-up was still travelling well in the hands of David Casey when tipping up four fences from the finish in the two-mile championship.

Baily Green is now likely to be targeted at the Boylesports.com Champion Chase at the Punchestown Festival on April 29. Morris said: "He was going well (when he fell) and he was just coming into the race at the time.

"I think he would have run very well, so I was disappointed for the horse.

"He'll probably go for the Champion Chase in Punchestown."

Baily Green was one of four runners at Cheltenham for the Fethard-based trainer, with Rule The World bound for Aintree after finishing sixth in the World Hurdle.

Rogue Angel was not beaten far into seventh in the National Hunt Chase, while Rathlin occupied the same finishing position in the Ryanair and could be set for a spin over the Grand National fences.

"Rogue Angel was probably in front too long, but he ran a good race in the four-miler," said Morris.

"He'll probably go for the Irish Grand National next in Fairyhouse. We'll see what weight he gets.
