SPOKANE, Wash.--Spokane police said they arrested a thief with six felony convictions after officers found him in a stolen car on Friday.

Michael Harris, 28, drove into an alley and ran from officers by jumping two fences and dodging in and out of traffic on Wellesley, according to police.

Officers were able to find Harris and arrest him.

Officers said they found a reported stolen Apple Mac Book, Apple hard drive, several charging devices, a watch, a number of broken cell phones and shaved keys inside the car Harris was driving.

Harris was booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of 2nd Degree Possession of Stolen Property and 1st Degree Taking of a Motor Vehicle without the Owners Permission. Harris has four adult felony convictions for 3rd Degree Assault, Attempt to Elude, 2nd Degree Theft, and 2nd Degree Burglary. He also has two juvenile felony convictions and 12 misdemeanor convictions. Collaboration between the Spokane Police and the Spokane County Prosecutors Office has resulted in the Prosecutor requesting a $50,000 bond for Harris. Harris was set to appear in court on Monday.
