In the past we lived in makeshift tents built in the middle of the desert. Today you can sleep in next generation trailer surrounded by glaciers. Yesterday, a worker in the Zagros mountains would run a real field laundry with a small tub. Today we live together in modern house boats along the River Niger. It #39;s been a long time, but we have not lost the desire to fend for ourselves, to be a little uncomfortable, because inconvenience helps us out of ourselves, forces out from behind our psychological fences, which are sometimes higher and more insurmountable than real ones.
