For sale, five-year-old pinto gelding
Montana goes English and Western, both direct rein and neck rein. Can also be ridden bareback. Montana is a flashy mover, and he has the looks to get attention in the arena, or out on the trails. A rider can sit his slow trot all day long and his big trot is active and powerful but smooth. He has a very correct walk and a ground-eating canter that is very adjustable. He is rising five and is just over 15hh. He does well on trails, alone or in a group, an easy keeper who goes very well barefoot. He has big, solid, strong feet and solid legs with no blemishes or lameness. Stands well for the the farrier, worming and vaccinations. Loads and travels well. Loves attention and is brave on the trails. Has just been started over fences and has received some Clinton Anderson groundwork training. Longes and has been started in long reins. Has been started on lateral work and is responding very, very well. Due to his age and sensitivity to the cues he will do best with an experienced/intermediate rider. Training will continue until he sells. $1100, negotiable to the right home. From:Jenn SchaafViews:2 0ratingsTime:01:46More inPets Animals
