Position Summary

The Electrician is responsible for various duties including but not limited to the operational integrity, maintenance (preventive maintenance), installation/removal of electrical equipment, repair and documentation of the entire offshore unit's electrical systems and equipment to include all refrigeration and air conditioning systems, all electrical power generation sources, rectifiers and circuits, transformers, power distribution equipment, electrical motors and controllers, performing diagnostic tests and troubleshooting system faults and failures, of all electrical equipment down to the component level. The ultimate objective of this position is to ensure that electrical power is supplied where and when needed, that all electrical systems are within safety and regulatory body compliance standards and all electrical equipment remains operative throughout the operation.
