Layout Update #2 - Helix, Lighting and Demolition
Here #39;s layout update #2 which covers the upgraded lighting for the layout, the construction of a helix and the demolition of the peninsula as well as another section of the layout. It has been awhile since the last update as I had put things on hold until I was able to decide upon a trak plan. That finally done, I was able to remove the peninsula and construct the helix to its current state in less than a week. I omitted to say that I the ideas for the helix construction are largely from seeing variations on YouTube and Model Railroader and such.
