RECAP

Repeat complete for Wilson.

Once mired at 6-7 earlier this season, the Bulldogs have reeled off 16 wins in a row, and Wilsons latest victory gave coach Doug Myers crew back-to-back District 3-AAAA championships.

Jessie Wallace had 16 points and seven rebounds and Carley Brew and Avery Marz popped in 15 points apiece on Friday night in Wilsons 51-38 win over Dover for district gold in the Giant Center.

The Bulldogs, seeded fourth and now 22-7 overall, opened up some breathing room with a 15-7 third-quarter spree; Marz got the run started with a 3-pointer and a transition layup, as Wilson picked up the pace defensively, forcing the Eagles into four third-quarter turnovers.

MAKE IT SIX FOR BULLDOGS

Thats six District 3 championships for Wilson, which also won titles in 2013, 2008, 2000, 1998 and 1997.
